A good night into a good morning!

Last night went really well, except for a few problems with our dogs. Fritz has a hurt leg, so he was grumpier and jumpier than usual. We have no idea what is wrong with him. We can't see anything and he walks and jumps fine, but he is favoring that leg when he is laying around. Hopefully we will find out whats wrong and can take care of it quickly. But, anyway, our friends came over and we played a game, laughed, talked and ate. All five kids had a good time. Natalie and her friends destroyed her room....and had a great time doing it!!! Vanessa got held and cuddled all night, so she was happy! After everyone left we were all dead tired. Natalie fell right to sleep, which hardly ever happens. Larry and I picked up the food stuff and went to bed as well. We saved all the rest of the cleaning until today. So when Nat woke up this morning and Larry and Vanessa were still asleep I picked up her room and she "helped". The rest of the house has a ways to go, but it will get there. I deep cleaned yesterday so it is just a matter of picking up and straightening. The rest of the fam gradually got up and after a while we had lunch at Cici's pizza buffet. It was yummy (buffalo chicken pizza..YUM!) and fun. Now we are all back home lounging. Larry and Nat are in our room napping, Ness is in her swing napping, and I am at the computer....alone....no distractions! (I have to say that as I was typing that I heard a "mommy" coming from my bedroom! She wanted tucked in!! And now I hear little footsteps on their way out. I guess it couldn't last forever!)

Larry is starting his week of vacation now. I am excited because we are going to get as much of the house painted as we can. We have been planning on it since we moved in April of 2003. Life kind of got hectic with the babies and everything and we are now ready to get it done. I love our house, and I can't wait until it looks finished and beautiful. It is so much fun picking out paint colors and themes for the rooms. I will of course post pics when things start getting done.

For now, I am going to surf the internet a little bit, watch some tv, and basically have a while of pure laziness!

What would I do without my mom?

I just wanted to give a big THANK YOU to my mom for everything!



Larry and I are having company tonight and I was worried I wasn't going to get everything done that I wanted. So, what do I do? Call Mom of course. She was more than happy to come watch the girls for a few hours so I could do some stuff. I got Natalie's room clean, all the food shopping done and the preparation started, Natalie had a bath, and the rest of the house was picked up so I can get to the dusting. All of that would have taken me all day with both girls. When one doesn't need me anymore the other one does!!! Natalie is pretty self-sufficient, but she does need her mommy every now and then. And of course Vanessa needs me all the time. Mom really helped out and the rest of the day can be a little more relaxed. I still have quite a bit to get done, but at least now it seems manageable. I even had time to post!

So, I decided to change my website. The other one just didn't have enough options for me. I read several blogs here (including my cousin's and my aunt's) and really liked how it looked and what it seemed they could do. While I am still learning and getting used to this new set-up, I already really like it. I love to talk and since Natalie and Vanessa don't usually care what I am talking about if it doesn't involve eating or playing, I am excited to get it all out.
I am also going to continue posting as many pictures as I can. We don't get to see a lot of the people I am going to send this to very much.....and I love to show off the kiddos!
So, please check back often. I won't send out update emails anymore because I will hopefully be posting on here quite often. I plan on a post every other day if there are things going on that I want to talk about or new pics, but it could be more or less depending.
