Loni...You're such a sweetie!!! Thanks! I wonder why blogger if freezing up..hmmmm.
Oh, by the way, I stopped to visit grandma and grandpa while I was in Wichita this past week. I told grandma that you were wanting to make goulash, and she said it's so easy!
Brown some hamburger (you may add onions or not, doesn't matter). Drain the fat. Add cooked macaroni. Then add tomato juice (she said you can use whole tomatos, but she never did). Add some salt and pepper, then just let them simmer a bit. Of course you must serve them with mashed potatoes. I thought that sounded dooable! I just might try it!
Wish we could have gotten together, but we kept pretty busy. And then today, after we left, dad ended up in the hospital AGAIN!!! Why they didn't just run some tests when he was in the ER two weeks ago instead of giving him pain pills and sending him home, I'll never know! But we're all pretty frustrated and (ok, I'll say it...)pissed off about it!
Anyway, hope your summer is going great. I love keeping up with your girlies and you!
Marilyn said she's going to try to get a family picture organized for September. I HOPE we'll be able to come home for it. There have been 9 new family members added since the last picture 4 years ago! 8 babies and 1 new spouse. CRAZY!
Well, I've gotta go to bed, I'm beat. Thanks for leaving me a note, even if it's not on MY blog! ;o)
